Description This is an Evergleam Combination Color Wheel and Revolving Tree Stand that is restored.
It has a brand new motor with brand new acrylic lens and original lens.
It does not come in its original box.
It includes 3 color spiral lightbulbs and 3 white LED lights.
This Evergleam is a rare find online and when you do find one the motor may not be running, making sounds or on its way out. Fortunately, we have experience in restoring these beautiful vintage items. We make every effort to keep the vintage condition of the lights we restore.
The following modifications/restorations have been made to this Tri-Lite. 1. Motor/Transmission has been replaced with a brand new motor. The top lid turns at 1 rpm. The new motor motor runs smoothly and quietly. 2. The glass color lens have been replaced with acrylic color lens.
Evergleam manufactured different style Tri-Lites, which had height and weight limit capacities. This Tri-Lite, as stamped on the bottom, was made for trees up to 8 feet with a max weight limit of 15 pounds.
We have repaired many Tri-Lites. If you use the wrong size tree in the light, eventually the motor and gears wear out. This is why many of these wheels are sold for parts. Sadly some are thrown out. Our Tri-Lites are priced higher because they have been restored. This is a huge advantage in the retention of their value.

We guarantee our work and offer a 2 year warranty on the motor, with proof of purchase receipt. But, as my husband likes to say, the new motor will outlast us. Buyer pays all repair shipping costs.
Why You Should Buy Our Color Wheel The majority of the Color Wheels being sold on online were manufactured during the 50’s and 60’s. Unfortunately, there are some disadvantages of buying a color wheel with its original motor.
1. The motor makes a grinding sound, indicating it’s coming to the end of its working cycle.
2. The motor turns intermittently sporadically, or needs to be budged, another sign that complete failure is near.
3. The shaft weighs down over time, loosens and causes melting of the color lens.
4. Finally, the motor just stops working. Once any one of these occur you are out the money you have invested and you are left with a non-functioning wheel.
My advice to those purchasing used Tri-Lites, is to request a video where the Buyer can listen to the motor and see the light turning. The older models may have a tendency to run for a while then stop. Older models should be ran non-stop at minimal 24 hours to ensure they are working properly when testing.
Our wheels have been restored. The motors have been replaced. The shafts have been extended slightly, to prevent melting of the color lens. We offer a two year warranty on our color wheel motors and on our Tri-Lites. If you have an issue with the motor, contact us.
