This unit arrives Brand New In Box. The unit is currently sealed in box. We will open the box carefully prior to shipping for photographs and to ensure that the unit is in good working order. This unit will come with a 3 year warranty. Receipt showing proof of purchase will be require if unit requires repair within the warranty period.

The majority of the Color Wheels being sold online were manufactured during the 50’s and 60’s. Unfortunately, there are some disadvantages of buying a color wheel with its original motor.
1. The motor makes a grinding sound or humming sound signaling, that its reaching the end of its lifespan.
2. The motor turns intermittently or sporadically, another indication that its nearing failure. Can also cause melting of the lens, which can be difficult to replace.
3. The shaft is beginning to loosen, possibly causing the lens to melt. Eventually the shaft breaks off.
Please note that oiling the motor will not correct any of the problems listed above.
